So excited to direct a brand-new short play by Kari Bentley-Quinn
in this month’s Madness, produced by our awesome Managing Director,
Judith Leora! The theme is FUTURE BABY!
The code for $5 tickets is NYMFRIENDS
I’m directing two new short plays by Gina Femia in a brunch reading series:
11:00am in the Studio at the Drama League (32 6th Avenue) on Sunday May 7th.
There will be mimosas!
I had an amazing time this month directing monologues for Pussyfest,
the extraordinary fundraiser/happening/party performance
to support Caps Lock Theatre!
Amy E. Witting, Kurt Stridinger, Brooke Ashley Eden, and Kari Bentley-Quinn
wrote for Kelli Lynn Harrison, Kelley Rae O’Donnell, Madeline Bundy,
and Kristen Krak, respectively, and it was a delight to work with all of them.
Mariah MacCarthy, Leta Tremblay and the whole Caps Lock team are terrific.
A+, would do again!
I’m directing a terrific play by Libby Emmons in the FRIGID Festival at the Kraine Theatre in February!

Happy to say I am lead producer on the upcoming Madness — October 30th at the Kraine Theatre! It’s a terrific group of writers: Dennis A. Allen II, Maggie Bofill, Nat Cassidy, Shaun B. Fauntleroy, Gina Femia, Julienne Hairston, Judith Leora, Nilsa Reyna, and Deborah Yarchun.

I had a wonderful time directing a reading of SHADOW WALKERS by Shaun B. Fauntleroy at Judson Memorial Church last month! This is a beautiful play, and the cast more than did it justice.
Thank you, CK Allen, Pun Bandhu, Patricia Randell, Nik Sadhnani, and Chandra Thomas!
(And Michele O’Brien knows that reading stage directions is an art!)
I directed three episodes of this web series, created by Amy Gaipa and Judith Leora.
It’s scheduled for release early 2017, and features a plethora of terrific people. Amy, Judith, and their co-producer Tiffany Fisher-Love collected an outstanding team and it was a pleasure to be part of it! (I directed an episode featuring my dog and an episode featuring Judith’s cat, plus some of my favorite actors — what more could anyone ask?!)
Connect on Facebook and Twitter for release updates for #GoingHomeless!
(Clearly Lucy was more tired than any of the cast or the crew!)
Putting up Gina Femia’s NYMadness short SHE HOLDS HER in Project Y’s WIT Festival! Very happy to have a chance to revisit this little play from last season with a new cast. Sunday June 12th, 6:30pm at Under St. Marks — it’s also a party to celebrate the start of this festival (three weeks of readings, performances, and panels, featuring a TON of terrific women theater artists).
Remember how awesome it was last year?
This year is going to be EVEN BETTER.
